You can drink alcohol by Swami Balram Shree

You can drink alcohol .
“Consumption of alcohol is injurious to health” is a statutory warning mentioned even on the bottles of alcohol that we buy. I am in agreement with this line, for obvious reasons: alcohol is known to damage our body in numerous ways. However, the reality is different: despite the warnings, people are known to love and enjoy liquor due to reasons both apparent and imaginary. Over the years, a number of saints, Babas and Gurus have advocated against drinking alcohol but have had little impact. It is not uncommon to see long queues outside liquor shops, queues that rival the ones outside a temple or other religious institutions. Given the levels of stress and the pace at which we live, we often turn to alcohol for simple joys of life.
Osho, the renowned spiritual guru, said “The modern mind is in much hurry. It wants instant methods for stopping the mind. Hence drugs and alcohols have appeal Mm ……..you can force the mind to stop by using chemicals, drugs but again you are being violent with the mechanism. It is not good. It is destructive. In this way you are not going to become a master. You may be able to stop the mind through the drugs but then drugs /alcohols will become your master……… you are not going to become the master .You have simply changed your bosses and you have changed for the worse. Now the drugs will hold power over you, they will possess you, without them you will be nowhere.
The process of quitting alcohol is not an overnight process: it is a process which takes over a period of time. The length of this period may vary: for some, it ends with their last breath. When you become accustomed to alcohol, the question of quitting it remains an insignificant thought at the back of the head instead of being the elephant in the room. But while you may or may not think about quitting alcohol, it is always better to learn how to detoxify accordingly.
Pure water is called anti –alcohol as it is known to nullify the effects of alcohol on the live, it is taken as per the protocol. The following method will ensure that the aftereffects of alcohol are as less as possible on the body.
1- Drink minimum two glasses of water about 30 minutes before consuming alcohol.
2-Take some green salads with lemon before taking the first sip of alcohol.
3-After every peg of alcohol, drink a small glass of water.
4-When, you have finished drinking; drink a glass of water with lemon within 5 minutes.
5-You drink a glass of water before going to bed.
6- Next morning when you get up, drink four glasses of water before washing your face, brushing and even spitting. Do not take anything for one hour, even tea/coffee. Preferably, drink the water between 5 am and 7 am.
7- Drink one glass of water 30 minutes before the breakfast.
There must be intake of minimum 3 liters of water within 12 hours of drinking alcohol. Water neutralize the alcoholic effect and save you from dehydration and ultimately from hang over in morning. In this state your body becomes ready to balance the pH of cells.
Some Important points
1-Avoid drinking alcohol with cold drinks or juice. Use only water.
2-Aerated drinks like Coke, Pepsi, add on the anti-hydrant properties of alcohol.
3-Chilled water is known to have a negative effect on the stomach as it has to perform more to make it normal.
4-Do not have your meals immediately after drinking alcohol. There must be gap of 30 minutes between the last peg of alcohol and eating your food.

Great Saying by Swami Balram Shree

The North East States possess enough Magnetic effect to attract tourist.

The most attractive and visible part of Map of India is the North East Indian states, designated as contiguous Seven Sister States- Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura, Sikkim . These states were reorganized under the North Eastern Council (NEC) constituted in 1971 as the acting agency for the development of this group. In 1990s, Sikkim was considered under this group and it became Eight Sister States.

In the era of tourism, the sets of above states play pivotal significance in the Indian domestic tourism. Although their developments have been under the pressure of its geographical scenario still they are at their booming steps of development. An eye of UNESCO has even selected as heritage status like Toy Train in Darjeeling. Destination covered in these states are really outstanding and possess tremendous scope for the tourist like Honeymoon couples, Adventures activity, Family trips, Jungle activity and all .Their attraction are not less than that of any part of the highly attractive part of tourist destinations.

You can have a glimpse of a few activities that one can come across as under

Toy Train in Darjeeling

A visit to Darjeeling is incomplete without a ride in the toy-train of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR). The miniature train, given heritage status by UNESCO, covers the distance of 88 km between New -Jalpaiguri station and Darjeeling. The little steam train made its maiden trip in 1880.Motley though the toy train is not the fastest means of transport, the journey by it is rather defatiguing, for it offers fabulous scenic view of the hills and possible interaction with a crowd of the local people. The train is now pulled by diesel engines to enhance speed. Earlier one needed to carry food along. However, since November 2001, the DHR has arranged food for its passengers.
Shorter trips between Darjeeling and Ghoom are also arranged during tourist season.
The most interesting part of the journey is the five switchbacks ('Z' reverse) and four complete loops including the Batasia loop, the hunting ground for the photo-shooters.

Yak Joy Ride: Tsomgo Lake (Sikkim):

Yake Ride is another popular and exciting experience in Sikkim. 35 km from Gangtok and at an altitude of 12,310 ft is the ethereally beautiful Tsomgo Lake. Colorfully decorated Yaks with woolen knitwear over the horns and forehead and strings of bells around the necks are ready to take you for a ride around the lake or go up the mountain.

Brahmaputra River Cruise:
Assam is not only about forests spread for miles but also about scenic rivers that make it the best possible destination for long river cruises. A holiday in Assam will remain incomplete without a river cruise. Assam is far-famed for its cruises. These cruises are amongst the major attractions of Assam. It is a wonderful experience to hop aboard a beautiful ship and sail into the rippling waves.
A river cruise in Assam is truly memorable. After a hectic day of sightseeing in Guwahati, a river cruise is indeed an ideal way to unwind and relax.
